Julian is a quaint town in the mountains of San Diego County. The altitude is around 4200 ft. We have four seasons. Snow is likely in Jan. through April. The spring is really a good time to visit. The apple trees are in bloom along with lilacs, daffodills, meadows are filled with wild flowers. Summer it warms up a bit. Highs rarely reach 100.
When the sun goes down the so does the temp.
Evenings are cool and comfortable.
Julian has a rich history of gold mining. There are several buildings left from that era. There are many unique shops and restaurants. There are many events through out the year. For a calander of events contact the Julian Chamber of Commerce @ www.julianca.com
